Romain Goyeneche, chef and creator of Lurrak, has gained solid experience in the demanding world of haute cuisine, working in renowned Michelin-starred establishments in France and abroad (La Table des Frères Ibarboure*, La Mare aux Oiseaux*, Kadeau**, Restaurant David Toutain**, Le Crillon).

Sixteen years spent behind the stoves have allowed him to refine his culinary approach and explore new techniques while developing his creativity.

Romain’s cuisine is a tribute to the precision of flavors and authenticity. Each dish is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, highlighting quality ingredients and seasonal products. His culinary philosophy is deeply rooted in respect for the Basque terroir, and this is reflected in every plate.

In 2020, Romain was awarded the Gault & Millau Young Talent Grant.
